Scorpio is . . . the very deepest feelings
and emotions that humans experience.
It is feeling at the level of
root chakra and second chakra.
Scorpio is the very essence of Yin.
Of the twelve archetypal essences, there are six –
the three water and the three earth signs --
that are the Yin essence,
the feminine half of the human equation.
These six are the mysterious,
magical power of the feminine
that is present in both females and males.
(The three fire signs and three air signs are
the Yang, masculine presence in both genders.)
Of the six feminine essences,
Scorpio is the core, essential power of Yin,
of women and of the inner feminine in men.
It is the power that propels all humans.
For humanity, Scorpio is the secret key.
Without Scorpio,
no one would ever do anything!

The planet Saturn is currently moving through the sign of Libra. This portends PERMANENT changes in the way relationships and partnerships are conducted on Earth.
For this reason, I encourage everyone - absolutely everyone - to join in on this New Moon in Libra tele-class.
In several previous classes we've discussed "The Four Cornerstone Arenas" of our lives. They are:
(1) Aries and the 1st house: our personal identity>
(2) Cancer and the fourth house: our home/family/roots
(3) Libra and the seventh house: our relationships and partnerships
(4) Capricorn and the tenth house: the authority figures/rules that govern our lives
When these four "cornerstones" are firmly in place, when they're solid and strong, we have a fighting chance at living the other eight arenas (signs, archetypes) in a way that generates a feeling of fulfillment for us and those we Love. If any one, two, three or all four of these cornerstones are weak and crumbling, that means the very foundation of our lives is weakening and crumbling. If this happens, something within our being knows the seriousness of the situation and we give that arena, or arenas, our immediate attention.
So, Libra is one of those four cornerstones, - that of relationships and partnerships. It's easy to see that relationships and partnerships are a cornerstone of our lives. The success of the human race depends almost entirely on our ability to understand and engage in "True and Real Partnerships" rather than any ol' sloppy relationship.
When we consider intimate, long-term romantic relationships (marriage, living together, etc.), there are six different, completely unique ways to do that. As we have mentioned in the classes, we can view the astrological mandala (circle) as twelve individual signs, or as six pairs, with those signs that are one hundred-eighty degrees, or in opposition to one another, forming pairs. Those six pairs are:
Each of these pairs has its own radically different and distinct way of pair-bonding. A huge problem on Earth, and especially in the western world, is that the very traditional Cancer-Capricorn way of pair-bonding (mother, father, children, savings account, college) is the only one that is understood, validated and fully supported and encouraged by the cultures. Aries-Libra gets considerable support, yet that axis is chocked full of minefields. Going forward into the future from this point, one of the keys to a new paradigm of successful pair-bonding will be to understand, honor, accept, allow and fully support and encourage all six ways of long-term committed pair-bonding.
Along with pretty much everything else on Earth these days, the relationship/partnership paradigm (Libra) is changing rapidly and drastically.
The planet Saturn is currently moving through the sign of Libra. This is an indication that the changes in the way we do relationships and partnerships are occurring at the most basic, structural level. The fundamental "rules" that govern the way we conduct ourselves in relationships and partnerships are changing.
This cycle of change (Saturn in Libra) began at the end of October, 2009 and will continue through early October 2012. It is during this three-year period that we have been, and will continue to experience upheavals in ALL relationships. Yes, Libra is all relationships and partnerships, not only romantic love relationships. Libra is also relationships between siblings, friends, parents and children, employers and employees, between nations(!), between neighbors, between religious groups(!), between political parties(!), and on and on. You don't have to be a visionary to see that the way all of these entities relate to one another is changing rapidly and drastically.
After this three-year period the way - and the reasons! -- we do relationships and partnerships will never be the same again. We will not have the option of going backward to "the good ol'days" or "the bad ol' days". It's all changing permanently. So whether you participate in this class live via the internet or phone, or listen to the archived recording - you need this information!
Virgo is highly specialized and perhaps, in these days and times, a bit enigmatic.
Imagine that you're in a ceremonial communion with the Spirit of your favorite oracle card deck. You still your thoughts to a thin, streaming, singular laser-like focus and you say, "Dear Oracle, I'm going to pull one card from the deck and I'm asking you to make it the card that answers the question: 'Who am I, or, what is my particular path, or, who am I to be and become in this Lifetime?'" Then you take a deep breath, you feel your neck and shoulders and knees and the tops of your feet relax, and you bravely pull a single card to see the answer. And to your surprise the card is "The High Priestess" or "The Hierophant" or "The High Priest". Welcome to Virgo.
The question for those on the Virgo path is something like, "What does it mean for me to be a priestess or priest in these times?" Or, "What is the role of the priest/priestess on Earth today"? Or, "What does humanity need its priestesses and priests to be and do at this time of unfathomable change on Earth"? Or, "If I have the opportunity to redefine the concept of "sacred" for all humanity, what is that new definition be and how will it change the way we live?" Something like that.
The Virgo archetype faces the dilemma of religion and the religious vs. The Sacred. The true essence and expression - and thus the role -- of the Virgo priest/priestess has to do with defining the concept of "sacred" for the people, and that job has been almost completely co-opted and exploited, twisted and tortured, by "the religious", i.e., religious beliefs, religious ideas, religious ideals, religions teachings, religious leaders, religious barking, etc., all of which serve the amazing dysfunction of continuously leading us into horrific wars over these religions!
So, what is the role of Virgo on Earth in these tumultuous times? How does person on the Virgo path help guide and direct us to a new system of "The Sacred"? Of all the challenges facing Virgo, certainly a major one is to create and maintain a and clear, clean, palpable connection to Spirit (aka Nature, God, Goddess, Earth, Pan, Spider Woman and Her Web of Life, etc.), to align with Spirit, to co-operate and co-create with specific Spirits with regularity, and from that "altar-point" to notify the other eleven tribes of the need to redefine sacred and the right timing and right ways for us to make that happen.

Cancer New Moon July 1, 2011
In Shamanic Astrology, the meaning of “Mother” is “The Responsible Nurturer." As is the case with all twelve archetypes, the Cancer/Mother archetype is present in everyone, not just females. So when we say “The Mother” this does not exclude males. There are tens of millions of women and men in whom the Cancer archetype is powerfully activated in this Lifetime. The feelings, thoughts, words, actions and deeds of these men will help “soften the masculine presence on Earth.”
The mention of mothers and “responsible nurturing” automatically infers a sense of “Home, Family and Roots” –both human family and spirit family -- the base, the very foundation of our experience that should bring us a feeling of “safety, security and comfort” on Earth. In the Aries New Moon tele-class last March, we discussed the four cornerstone arenas of our lives and how all four of them are changing, being altered, redefined. These four cornerstone arenas of our lives are essential (“essences”) to our well being. Again, they are:

Aquarius New Moon - February 2, 2011
Aquarius is, among other things, the archetype (sign) of the celestial realms, the heavens, the cosmic, the cosmic visionary, The Universal Order, The Cosmic Order, The Big Picture, the evolutionary revolutionary.
There is a New Moon every 29½ days (approximately), which corresponds to one calendar month (the word “month” is derived from the word “moon”, and it is from the approximately 30-day cycle of the Moon that we arrived at approximately 30 days for the length of each month). Each new Moon signifies precisely that -- a time to be new, a three-day window of time of each month that is deeply imprinted with the energy-vibration of initiating “new-ness”. It is a time when “The Amazing Universal Order” urges us in the direction of new motivations, new challenges, new activities, new ideas, new thoughts, new beliefs, new understandings, new speech, new businesses, new practices, new people, new places, new things, etc.
We are becoming increasingly aware of Earth as a living being and that we are partners with Her. Establishing an actual partnership with the Moon in the ways we will discuss in this tele-class will help you create a solid foundation to stand on and build upon for the remainder of your days on Earth.
